Oh Doughnuts is now accepting resumes for the following positions:

Doughnut artisan

Doughnut artisans are responsible for all aspects of doughnut production- prepping; mixing, rolling and cutting the doughnuts (yeasted, cake, etc), frying, finishing and packaging (and other tasks as required- i.e serving, cleaning, equipment cleaning/maintenance) for retail and wholesale. This position can involve a sense of urgency and pressure to ensure delivery deadlines are met and adequate stock is produced. Kitchen and baking experience is required, with some training provided. Shifts will be 8 hours long, and begin at 9pm or later (must be willing/able to work night/late/early shifts). Weekend availability is a must.  Full time position available to start immediately. Candidates should possess the following qualifications/qualities:

-1-2 years baking experience and/or culinary/baking education, including experience working with dough;
-Food handlers certificate strongly recommended;
-Thorough understanding of health and safety legislation, policies and practices is an asset;
-Attention to detail/quality control;
-Love working early/late hours (depending on how you look at it) ;
-Hunger for knowledge/learning - Interested in developing new flavours/menu items;
-Ability to lift 50lbs;
- Great customer service and communication skills;
-Access to reliable transportation;
-Positive attitude;
-strong work ethic;
-Ability to stand long hours;
-Sense of humour;
-Loves (or strongly likes) doughnuts;
